Dr. Angulo has gathered advanced expertise in minimal invasive surgery coming from more than 20 years of clinical experience in Germany.  In addition to vast expertise in laparoscopic surgery, he is also an expert in bariatric surgery (sleeve, bypass). The highlight of his professional journey is as follows:

• Head of Thoracic and Bariatric Surgery, Helios Clinic Schleswig, Germany (2006 – 2023).

• Experience in minimal invasive surgery (laparoscopic and thoracoscopic).
• Experience in bariatric surgery (sleeve, bypass).
• Experience in ultrasonography abdominal and thoracic, endoscopy and laser surgery. 
• Performance of numerous lap-adrenalectomies, lap-pancreas resections, lap-splenectomies, and lap-liver resections. 
• Performance of numerous laparoscopic up-side-down stomach, laparoscopic fundoplication, laparoscopic appendectomies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, and laparoscopic hernia repairs (TEP, TAPP, LAP. IPOM).
• Performance of various oncological procedures, such as VATS-Lobectomy, VATS-Thymectomy, laser lung metastasectomy, lung cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer, oncology surgery and VATS-Sympathectomy.
